Winter Registration Opens 10/19 at 9:00am for Members, and 10/22 at 11:00am for the public.

Description: Move past basic techniques to discover how you can create depth, rhythm, and unexpected visual relationships in your paintings. Brushes are just the beginning, but if you are looking for ways to be more playful and expressive, this 6 week class is for you. We'll discover how to use hand made stencils, how to use transparent and opaque acrylic paints, and how to deepen our painting exploration by working on more than one piece at a time. You will learn to create your own stencils, develop color layering strategies, and integrate stenciled elements seamlessly with painterly techniques to create dynamic, layered compositions.
