Hi, I’m Lisa, the maker behind Pottery by Lisa T. I’m a stay-at-home mom of two, and pottery started as a creative outlet for me — a chance to make something that was completely my own.

What began as a hobby quickly became something I truly fell in love with. I love working with clay, experimenting with color, texture, and glaze, and creating pieces that are unique and full of character.

I especially love making mugs. There’s something special about a mug because everyone can use one. They make thoughtful gifts, and I love the idea of creating a mug specifically for someone — something that makes them think of the person who gave it to them every time they reach for their morning coffee.

I love imagining someone sitting down with their coffee in a handmade mug that was chosen just for them. It’s those little everyday moments that make handmade pottery so special.

Every piece in my shop is handmade by me, from shaping the clay to choosing the glazes and adding the little details that make each piece unique. No two pieces are exactly alike.

Because each piece is handmade, you may notice small variations, subtle irregularities, or little imperfections. I believe those details are part of what makes handmade pottery special. No two pieces are exactly alike, and each one carries the time, care, and love that went into making it.

My hope is that when you bring one of my pieces into your home, it feels just as special to you as it did to me while I was making it.
