Spring Open Studios Brings Over 800 Visitors to Mother Brook Arts & Community Center

Mother Brook Arts & Community Center welcomed more than 800 visitors to its Spring 2026 Open Studios weekend, held May 16 and 17 in East Dedham. The annual event featured more than 75 resident and exhibiting artists working across painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, fiber arts, mixed media, and more.

Throughout the weekend, visitors explored artist studios, met local makers, and purchased original artwork directly from the artists. Guest vendors, free hands-on activities, printmaking demonstrations from Full Tilt Print Studio, and workshops added to the festive atmosphere, creating an engaging experience for attendees of all ages.

The celebration began on May 14 with the Preview Party fundraiser and opening reception for Art in Bloom, an exhibition juried by Michael Rose. The exhibition paired original artwork with interpretive floral arrangements created by regional floral designers, bringing together visual art, design, and community in a vibrant spring showcase.

Spring Open Studios remains one of Mother Brook Arts & Community Center’s largest annual public programs. Each year, the event offers the community a chance to connect with artists, experience the creative process firsthand, and celebrate the important role the arts play in East Dedham and beyond.

Mother Brook Arts & Community Center extends its gratitude to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and helped make the weekend possible.
