Inked: Selected Works by Full Tilt Print Studio

For more than fifty years, Full Tilt Print Studio has remained steadfast in its mission: to make printmaking accessible by providing equipment and materials on terms artists can afford. Yet the studio’s true vitality comes from what happens beyond the presses and plates. Within this cooperative space, artists share technical knowledge freely, support one another’s creative ambitions, and cultivate a generosity of spirit that has become the studio’s hallmark. Full Tilt welcomes artists at every stage of their careers while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

The works in this exhibition reflect the breadth of processes practiced in the studio—ranging from traditional techniques to experimental and hybrid approaches. Full Tilt’s facilities support etching, lithography, relief, monotype, and photopolymer plate processing, giving artists the freedom to explore and innovate. One of the most common questions in the studio is, “How did you make that?” To honor that curiosity, we’ve included process notes on the gallery labels, offering a glimpse into the methods behind the prints.
