MBACC is pleased to feature a portfolio of 29 photogravures by Judy Bergman-Hochberg, a member of Full Tilt Print Studio. Havana Haunts presents a selection of images captured by Bergman-Hochberg during a 2017 trip to Havana, Cuba.

From Bergman-Hochberg:

Throughout my life I have been blessed by being able to travel all over the world. In January, 2016, I traveled to Havana with a group of printmakers. The feeling at the time was that we were fortunate to go there before the island of Cuba was overrun with tourists. Needless to say that didn’t happen! But we had a wonderful experience. 

I created a portfolio of photopolymer etchings from my photos of that trip. Many of the prints were only in black and white, because it captured the essence of the images.
