Plaster Molds - Beginner

Description: DIY your own plaster molds! Learn how to make: a small one-piece mold from a bowl, cup or plant pot for slip casting; press molds, slump or drape, and a damp box which extends the working time of clay pieces.

What to bring: Ideal models for molds should be made from thick clay in a leather-hard greenware stage or plastic objects. Models cannot have undercuts for this workshop. If you wish to create a damp box, bring a plastic storage bin with a snug-fitting lid. No plaster experience necessary!
