Description: This class will focus on several techniques that may be used to alter thrown forms (e.g., darting, fluting, and faceting). Forms will begin with a round piece made on a potter’s wheel and then cut, stretched, or paddled into something that is not round. Some projects may involve assembling multiple thrown forms to create something new.
Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced. Students should be able to throw cylinders and basic forms independently
